Unglazed translucent halloysite porcelain candle votive featuring impresses of hand-carved insects - each specific to a genus level depiction of their natural counterpart. Comes with a hand-poured beeswax candle to give a warm golden glow highlighting the veins and details of the insects. Soak with hot water to remove wax after use, rubbing alcohol removes soot marks form the flame.
Due to unglazed interior and thin wall profile this form is not intended to be used as drink ware
**slumped in the kiln, still stable on the foot but the walls got soft during the fire and has left the piece leaning forward - can function as intended despite altered form
